Baja Relocation was originally created to meet the needs of people who had not already made the decision to vacation or retire in México.

Advice on health care, immigration, banking, insurance, transportation utilities and other needs were the fundamental services of our company. We created several relocation packages based on our international experiences in other countries. Our goal was to answer questions for people who were unsure of what life in México would be like and to assist them in setting up their new home.

Almost immediately we realized that the most important issues for most people were really:

 

	Where should I buy?
	Who will help me find a safe and secure home to buy?

 

The research for this service was complicated as there were no licensed real estate agents in México and no way to know what properties were “problem – free.”  Some of the most beautiful areas had some of the biggest title problems. It was important for us to do our homework before advising our clients.

 

Our services have changed from post-sale to pre-sale. Luckily, our Managing Director, Kerry Sims had worked overseas in the resort property market for many years before moving here. She sold property in Thailand, Australia, New Zealand, China and Bali and has experienced the good and the bad of third world real estate.

 

Our criteria for a secure property purchase has developed over the last couple of years and is now used by many developers and real estate agents to attract American buyers.
